    Boesch Farm Trail Maintenance


    On June 20, 2009, a group of thirty volunteers arrived at Boesch
    Farm in an effort to clear some of the overgrown walking trails as
    part of Barrett Veazey’s Eagle Scout project.  Many of the
    volunteers were scouts of Troop 1 East Greenwich, but several
    other friends from the community came out to support the project
    and the cause of creating more usable trails in the East
    Greenwich area.  Workers began at nine in the morning and due
    to the diligence and enthusiasm of the volunteers, the half mile of
    previously overgrown walking path was transformed into a
    spacious and pleasant trail by noon. Thanks to the support of all
    volunteers involved, this service project turned out to be
    enormously successful.
